The TE-5-MD-HC is used as a non-submersible or in-line pump for circulating highly corrosive acids, alkalis, solvents, brine, plating solutions, sterile solutions, and other highly corrosive chemicals and solutions compatible with the pump's material of construction.

Overview


The TE-5-MD-HC features the patented Little Giant magnetic drive pump design driven by an enclosed, fan-cooled permanent split capacitor motor. The motor is thermally protected to prevent dangerous overheating which can result in possible motor failure. The volute, housing, and impeller are constructed of glass-filled Ryton® with carbon bushing added to the impeller for added corrosion resistance. This pump is designed to handle fluid temperatures to 200 °F (93.3 °C).
